About the event
You’re invited to our next ADHDKC Adults Group meeting on Sunday, March 1st, where we’ll be diving into a topic many of us know all too well:
When Everything Feels Personal: Understanding justice sensitivity, rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD), and emotional intensity—and learning how to pause before we react.
Have you ever felt a strong emotional surge when something feels unfair, dismissive, or critical—even when others seem unfazed? You’re not alone. For many neurodivergent adults, emotional intensity can show up quickly and powerfully, especially when our sense of justice or belonging is touched.
Moderators Nic and Abby will start us off with a brief introduction to the topic, and then—true to Adults Group style—everyone will have a chance to share, reflect, and discuss in a supportive, judgment-free space. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as feels right for you.
